It is my great pleasure to introduce myself as the Principal of Karmveer Abasaheb Alias N.M. Sonawane Arts, Commerce and Science College, Satana. Our college is situated in Baglan Tahasil, one of the leading tahasil in the field of education from rural area and it is affiliated to University of Pune. The college was established in 1967 and was the first college of MVP Samaj. Our college is only 90 Kms away from famous pilgrim city Nashik.

We have been trying our best to impart qualitative education to the students from all walks of life. Apart from our regular teaching learning procedure we are organizing extra curricular activities like NSS, NCC, Sports, Earn and Learn Schemes. We have well established organizations working in the above fields. For the educational development of the students we organize Remedial courses and special guidance scheme for the students in SC,ST,NT and OBC category. For the over all personality development of the students, we have been conducting the Soft-Skill Development programme for the final year students of B.A., B.Com. and B.Sc. Under soft-skill development programme, we have well established language laboratory, which is run by the department of English and it is used by all the students of final year. To get the recent information about the present routine of this college to the students of B.A.,B.Com., B.Sc. and Staff, we are running the NRC (Network Resource Center) by the department of Computer Science of this college. We have specious sports ground with 400 mtr. running track. The students from various classes have shown their capabilities in sports by participating in various tournaments at state and national level. We have good infrastructure including separate buildings. We have separate Library Building, Life Sciences Building, Material Science building, two ladies hostels, one boys hostel, Canteen, Guest House, Computer Labs, Separate MCVC building and well equipped indoor sport facility center. The college has separate Competitive Exam Center building which was funded by Hon. Lata Mangeshkar , from her Member of Parliament fund.
The college provides extension activities such as soil testing and water testing. The college also conducts various career oriented courses sanctioned by UGC. The college also provides facility for external students desirous of higher education and has established study centers of YCMOU (Yashwantrao Chavan Maharshtra Open University). My aim is not only to be an able administrator but also to be a friend and the guide to my students. I assure that my doors will always be open to the staff, students and their parents for any suggestion and guidance.
